MOSCOW, July 28 — The Russian government is monitoring the situation surrounding e-commerce company Wildberries after Ukrainian drone attacks on its warehouses, but no decision has been made on state assistance, the Kremlin said Tuesday.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov was asked whether the government was considering aid for Wildberries and sellers whose goods were lost or damaged in the attacks.

Peskov praised the company for announcing that it would assist sellers and others who stored goods in its warehouses, despite having no obligation to do so.

“This, of course, deserves the highest praise,” Peskov told reporters.

He said the government was discussing the situation but had not taken any specific action.

“As for assistance to the company, overall this situation is, of course, being monitored by the government,” Peskov said. “Discussions are taking place, but no specific decisions have yet been taken on this matter.”
