WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully intercepted an air-launched intermediate range ballistic missile target during a test off Guam for the first time, marking a significant milestone in the island's defense capabilities, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.
