MOSCOW, July 30 — Russia said Thursday that its forces carried out large overnight strikes on military factories across Ukraine and hit three cargo ships in the Black Sea.

Reuters could not independently confirm Russia’s account.

The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces used land-, sea- and air-launched missiles, along with strike drones, in attacks on facilities in Kyiv, Lviv, the Ivano-Frankivsk region and the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In Kyiv, the ministry said it struck the Mayak factory, which it alleged was involved in producing Ukraine’s FP-1 and FP-2 strike drones.

Russia also said it hit Kyiv’s Electrical Technical Plant, which it alleged manufactured strike and surveillance drones.

In the western city of Lviv, the ministry said Russian forces struck the LORTA Aviation Factory.

Russia alleged that the facility manufactured and serviced engines used in Ukraine’s Flamingo cruise missiles and drones.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the ministry said its forces hit two factories that produced or stored Ukrainian missiles, including Flamingo and Neptune missiles.

Russia also said it struck the Akvaplast factory in Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The ministry alleged that the facility was involved in designing and assembling strike drones and unmanned sea drones, as well as repairing self-propelled howitzers.

Russia said it also struck a cargo ship at the port of Yuzhnyi, also known as Pivdennyi, in the Odesa region. The ministry alleged that the vessel had delivered military goods.

Two additional cargo ships south and east of Odesa were also struck, the ministry said.

Russia alleged that those vessels had been delivering weapons and military equipment to the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
