Like many of his generation, Paul joined the Marine Corps straight out of high school and served as an Infantry Rifleman. He deployed twice; once on a "Med float" with the 26th MEU in late 2010, and a pump to Marjah, in Afghanistan's Helmand Province in the Spring of 2012. When his plans to PCS to an instructor unit in VA Beach with his boys fell through at the last minute, he decided to swap his reenlistment papers for a DD-214 in the summer of 2013.
After the Marines, Paul returned home to the Jersey shore where he graduated from Stockton University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice focusing on Homeland Security. After that, he worked in politics at the State level and commercial real estate. He now works full time for OAF Nation, helping manage day-to-day operations.
